Vermin in the Dungeon
|
Vermin in the Dungeon, an assignment from Jay Lincoln's Heads, Hands, and Facial Features class. The objective was to display six emotions in a character(s). Here in order we have disgust, surprise, sadness (or in this case pain), rage, sadistic glee, and fear. Minotaurs are great! Go mythology! It looks like I'm on my reading recommendation kick now! This comic just reminded me of The Minotaur Takes a Cigarrette Break by Steve Sherrill. My professor Ryan Clifford recommended it to me and I liked it alot. Check it out if you're looking for a modern take on a mythological being, along the lines of a fish out of water scenario. If the new take on mythology thing is your kind of deal, also check out Frenzy by Percival Everett and Weight by Jeanette Winterson. Geez, I need to work on my reading list page next! |
